Compared to butyl tubes, a weight saving of 100 grams or more can be achieved for the entire bike. You can rely on the Aerothan Tube Race not only for excellent puncture protection, but also when riding downhill: it remains absolutely heat-resistant even after several emergency stops in quick succession with rim brakes.
Aerothan tubes are made of 100% thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) (including the valve) and are therefore fully recyclable.
