THE WIDE TIRES FOR E-BIKE AND CARGO BIKE

WIDE, COMFORTABLE, SAFE: The Schwalbe Motion Super Moto-X is a true balloon tire for E-bikes, S-pedelecs and cargo bikes. With tire widths from 62 millimeters, it delivers agility and fun on asphalt, cobbles, and light terrain. Since a high tire volume on small wheels is especially beneficial, we also offer it in sizes for compact bikes and small cargo bike front wheels.

SUSPENSION TUNING WITH BALLOON TIRES

E-bikes with wide tires ride more safely and comfortably. This is because pneumatic tires serve as a form of suspension for the wheel. The wider they are, the better and more sensitively they function. The Motion Super Moto-X can be considered a suspension upgrade which is precision tuned with the tire pressure.

ROBUST AND DURABLE

The Motion Super Moto-X is the robust sibling of the Motion Big Apple – specially constructed for the higher loads on e-bikes, S-pedelecs and cargo bikes. This is thanks to the huge tire volumes along with reinforced carcass and Greenguard puncture protection with Double Defense. The load capacity is extraordinary: depending on the model the Motion Super Moto-X can carry up to 120 kilograms per tire making it suitable for even the most demanding transport tasks.

SAFETY THROUGH TECHNOLOGY

DISTINCTIVE TREAD PATTERN

The characteristic tread pattern of the Motion Super Moto-X with clear lines and form rolls especially well, as it is almost completely solid. The tread depth between the tread blocks and the textured outer surface reliably provide the necessary traction on roads, bike paths, and paved forest trails.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PERFORMANCE: ADDIX GREEN

Like most tires in the Motion family, we use our groundbreaking ADDIX Green compound in the Motion Super Moto-X. This delivers the best performance and is especially durable. With up to 80% renewable and recycled materials, ADDIX Green is our most environmentally friendly compound. We use carbon black from our own tire recycling.

CUSTOM TIRE PRESSURE

Tire pressure is especially important in a balloon tire like the Motion Super Moto-X. By matching the tire to the system weight, you get the best performance from the tires and can fine tune its characteristics. On cargo bikes it pays to adjust the tire pressure accordingly when carrying heavy loads.
