The original. The archetypal high quality touring tire. Now completely revised:

GreenGuard. The highly elastic, India rubber layer is 3 mm thick. Other manufacturers
call such a tire “Plus”. However, Green is not just the colour, but also the philosophy:
One third of the GreenGuard is made up of recycled latex products.

„Anti-Aging“. The completely new sidewall construction can withstand for much longer
the typical cracking resulting from overloading due to insufficient inflation pressure. Also
the new Endurance Compound substantially increases durability.

E-Bike Ready. The new Marathon has been designed for use on all types of E-bikes.
The following sizes bear the ECE75 mark, suitable for use on faster, up to 50 kph,
E-bikes.

Great tire for price

So far after touring 28,000 miles around the US and Mexico, I would highly recommend this tire. I did about 8,000 on a set of the 622-47 size and going from a dirt road to a paved road was a very nice transition. I could have gotten more I am sure, but left Missoula and on the coast heading back into Mexico. I wish they had the 50-622 in stock, it would be nice to have the extra comfort on some of the back roads in Mexico. Might I add that those miles where with no flats, even thou I would pull wire and knock off goat heads from them. Much better than the Kevlar version.
