It’s not only the fastest tire Schwalbe has ever produced, but also the safest: The Ultremo ZX tubeless raises rolling resistance and puncture protection to a higher level. Schwalbe is the first leading supplier in the racing bike sector to put a tubeless tire on the road.
Light as a freeride tire, rugged as a downhill tire: this combination of properties marks out the Super Gravity version of Hans Dampf, which is the first tire to be brought onto the market with the new carcass technology. Schwalbe engineers took methods used in the motorcycle tire industry and developed them further to build a completely new type of carcass. Its construction is so revolutionary that Schwalbe have applied it for a patent.
With a triple rubber compound, SnakeSkin sidewall and notably lighter: Schwalbe is launching its most popular touring tire, Marathon, in a luxury version - the Marathon Deluxe.
Big Ben, the beefier-treaded brother of Big Apple, is being rolled out in time for EUROBIKE 2012. The Big Ben balloon tire reflects Schwalbe's recognition of London's amazing cycling revolution.
How strongly 27.5 inch can assert itself alongside the two established size giants is unknown. But one thing is for certain: several bike manufacturers are already working on this size.
Schwalbe is launching a new tire for the 2012 season – the Energizer Tour Plus with a sturdy trekking tread and outstanding puncture protection. The new tire is the most versatile of the Schwalbe Energizer family, which now has four members. All tires bear the ECE-R75 certification mark, recognized throughout Europe, for e-bikes with speeds of up to 50 km/h.
The strongest named team in the WorldTour 2012 rides Schwalbe Ultremo. Newly formed team Radioshack-Nissan-Trek has emerged from Team Radioshack and Leopard Trek, which was sponsored by Schwalbe in 2011.
19 year old Brit, Danny Hart, celebrated the greatest success of his career this past weekend at the Mountainbike world championships in Champery (Switzerland).
Schwalbe is presenting its latest MTB allrounder Hans Dampf, first seen at the Sea Otter Classic in the USA and hailed by the Press: "Hans Dampf sets new standards in rubber". It looks good too. Alpine style packaging makes you want to head for the hills - and adds color to sales shelves.
It is the successor to the legendary Marathon XR touring tire. And Schwalbe's latest version, the Marathon Mondial, carries on the Marathon's 26 year long tradition of developing tires for extreme cycle touring, using the very latest technology - Triple Compound and patented puncture protection.
Two more Schwalbe tires are going electric for the 2012 season: Energizer Pro and Energizer Plus are the new model names developed specially for E-Bikes, bringing the Energizer family to three models. And all three tires will bear the ECE-R75 mark, applicable throughout Europe for E-Bikes up to 50 kph.
Schwalbe is presenting a completely revised Big Apple at Interbike. With its exceptionally large volume, it was the first tire to trigger the revival of the balloon bike trend of the 30´s.
30 grams lighter, 20 percent less rolling resistance: These are the results of revising one of Schwalbe´s most popular mountain bike tires.
Schwalbe's MTB Evolution tires are now Tubeless ready: They can be converted into a tubeless tire by the addition of a latex based puncture sealant liquid ("latex milk"), or used quite normally by inserting an inner tube.
