Tandem tires

We've been using the wire bead version on our 2x406 wheel recumbent tandem for five years. We are a 300lb team so we're running right at the load limit. The first year was the first ever flat free year ~ 2000 miles. A bonus is the Racer is faster than the Comp Pool it replaced. The wet weather handling is great. We get about 2500 miles then the flats start. I'm happy with 2500 miles.

Great Tires

These came on my ICE ADVENTURE TRIKE, picked up in Dec., '10. On my first major outing outside Phoenix, AZ, I caught 2 flats, both on the right tire. Wow, I thought, these are Schwalbe's?

Next flat I notice on same tire, around 400 miles, but in my house.

That's it. Now over 2,000 miles, that and the other 2 tires are showing little wear. I rolled through wet and dry (Southern Cal, no snow) and the tires never let me down.

When I find a dirt patch, I take the trike over it. This is a go anywhere, do anything trike, and the tires get me there.
