The optimal competition tire. The star of the MTB scene is also the optimum choice for cyclo cross competition: Evo-carcass and triple compound tread for added grip and speed off-road. Also available as a tubular tire.

I like this tire, but would really love to see it in a “Monster Cross” size. Schwalbe has such an extensive line of trekking tires, but not much to speak of in terms of a fast rolling, semi-knobby tire capable of light off road duty.
What are the odds of seeing it in a 700x42 or thereabouts? Would still be very much raceable (if it came in ~400 grams, and let you run pressure in the 40’s with messing with tubeless/tubular), while even more fun/comfy on dirt roads, etc. Do it!

biked all over the alps this summer with racing ralphs. never had a mtb tire that came anywhere close in terms of rolling low resistance and still having traction and comfort. in my opinion by far the best tire for the back of a mountain bike. i prefer schwalbe nobby nic for the front, since they have better cornering and braking performance.
Bigger Size?

Monster Cross Racing Ralph
I second that!
I would love to see a high volume racing ralph cross tire. the 700x45 range would make an awesome all summer trail capable cross tire.
I’d buy five, and I have several friends who would be equally stoked.
Please, Please, Pleeeease?!?!?
Please make something 700x47-50
I would appreciate 700x47 Kevlar guard, 29x2,25 (57) is too wide.

Third! But I want a 700x40 version. I can’t fit a 45 on my speedvagen.
4th. I would love something
4th.
