650B and 559 please

I agree with all the many comments on here for 650B x 38-42 and 559 x 1.6". please please bitte bitte.

My Marathon 650B 42/37 has been outstanding _4,000 miles and ticking. But as interest in 650B continues to grow, it would be excellent to have the option of a larger Dureme (a true 40 or 42 for road/offroad touring) or Supreme (as a faster reliable commuter). There's been a flurry of new 650B tires, but none of them offer the reliability and durability of the Schwalbe. Please keep us in mind. Folks who buy 650b are, I expect, naturally more interested in quality tires.

Dureme 50 in 650B

Oh yes, please. The 42 Marathon is a wonderful tire. Make the Dureme a bit fatter. A Schwalbe 50mm will measure about 45mm...and that'll be a super touring and allaround tire, and a good complement to the Marathon 650B.

Rivendell would stock them for sure. It would probably be their top selling 650B.

29 Duremes for Gary Fisher x-caliber

the x-caliber comes with Bontrager XDX 29x2.1, 120 TPI, aramid bead, tubeless ready tires. The Bontrager is a good off road tire, but I usually am on the road about 80% of the time. I replaced the Bontragers with the Marathon Dureme, and the difference was quite amazing. I have put only about 300 miles so far, and have traversed poor concrete pavement, new asphalt, gravel paths and wet grass. This is a great '(sub)urban assault tire, and does well at lower pressures off road. I now have the ideal bike for my riding. They are hard to find, and the Schwalbe responded immediately in helping me find a pair.

Do you know what the actual width is for the Dureme 700x40 when mounted on a 22mm rim?
Also, isn't there also a 700x50 version of this tire? Actual width for that when mounted on a 22mm rim?
