Wicked Will HS 415

Wicked Will is very fast, due to the big but low/flat blocks in the center. This new tread
design ensures super lite rolling. Combined with strong shoulder blocks for excellent
cornering grip and our newly developed "Curve Claws". These blocks are almost on the
sidewall, to give grip even at extreme curves or off-camber situations.

"The" SoCal tire

After 19 years on mountain biking in SoCal I've tried every tire imaginable. It wasn't until I tried the Wicked Wills was I completely satified. I run the FRs on my 35lb do it all Foes FXR and the DH version on my Foes Mono.

This tire breeds confidence and is completely predictable. I reverse the front one on my FXR which does increase the rolling resistance a bit, but the positive trade-off is a front tire that stays put and forces the rear to break away a bit when forced to do so.

best tire for the given conditions?

im racing DH in the Santa Barbara / central california area. mostly thin layer of loose over hardpack or rock, some loose rock and babyheads aswell. would this be my best tire choice you offer, or would something like the big betty or muddy marry be better?

Yeah they will work!!!

I've done tunnel, cold springs and raced all over socal. These will work great at a hardpack situation, you can reverse the tread for a little more rolling resistance but better grip of a little loose over hard.
I personally like guey gluey compound front with a muddy mary and a Big betty triple rear it gives great pedalling and handles the loose over hard really well.

They would work at Tunnel go GG, big profile and run them26-28 psi to adapt to the sides of the rocks. Tunnel is 99% solid rock 1% dirt LOL.. They are a fast tire...............

26x2.35 Wicked Will? Rough Terrain Unicycle?

When can I buy this tire from this website?
When will Schwalbe come out with a Rough Terrain Unicycle or Muni Specific tire?

Comments on your product page.

I think it is funny that you let everyone and anyone post a comment on your products page. "I want these tyres in a super protection hard shell, but I want it to be soft and supple in the corners, tubeless and tube version, extra large profile at no more than 400g, and last 8000 miles of mostly road riding."

Thank You

Landon

Rolling resistance question

On your technical chart where it says "rolling" underneath "speed", does three plus marks mean that this tires has less rolling resistance than a tire with one plus mark, for example the rocket ron? I am an enthusiastic customer of Schwalbe tires, now running the 29'r Big Apple and 26 inch Super Moto's. They are the highest quality and highest performance bicycle tires I have ever ridden. I fully expect to purchase a set of Wicked Wills and would purchase 29'r tires from Schwalbe if they were available.

oh yeah!

Totally going to buy these just for the fact that my name is will! plus they look pretty sweet!

Wicked Will

I so want some cause my name is will and i been looking for a replacement 4 my old kenda nevegals
How much they cost in AUS dolllars

Tubeless?

Can these be run tubeless with Industry Nine DH Rims?
Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend it - I

I wouldn't recommend it - I am having trouble keeping the 2.5" DH version seated without burping on my EX823's. Go figure.

If you get stans conversion

If you get stans conversion kit

Wicked Will

I'd like to see the wicked will lighter weight and tubeless

Wicked Will

I've never been so enthusiastic to try a new tire but please make this tire in tubeless!

Regards

~SB

Wicked Will

I will order a set when you make a tubless version

Thanks

Justin

Tubeless

You need Gooey Gluey and a Triple Rubber compound in Tubeless. You should also have a Triple Rubber compound for the standard tires

More offerings

More offerings are coming down the production line and are going to be available by the end of the year. Wicked Will is actually a 2010 model on only one execution has been released so far.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and patience.

schwalbe tire pics

You should use real tire pics instead of the CGI versions. If one looks at pinkbike's pic of the wicked will, it looks much more beefy than the version listed on your website.

REAL PICTURES!!!!!

Agreed. The drawings do no justice to any of your tires. In fact, if I had never seen them in person, based on the less than flattering or accurate drawings I don't know if I would buy a Schwalbe tire.....

Pictures of all your tires, please.

Thanks.

Great tires by the way.

Wicked will vs Ardent

How does a Wicked Will compare to a Maxxis Ardent with traction and rolling resistance?

I freeride in Fernie BC, the best riding in Canada, where the Ardent works well.

For info visit http://www.fernie.com/

Hmmm, Fernie... it's dry most

Hmmm, Fernie... it's dry most of the time, right? IIRC, then yea, the WW would be great. But if you're talking Shore riding, then no, the WW wouldn't work so well. Knobs are too close.
BTW, there's a reason people come from around the world to ride Whistler and the Shore. I've only ever met locals in central BC, and it seems like locals are few and far between at Whistler. Just sayin'
