The new Flat-less tire. A heavy-duty trekking tread for asphalt, or offroad allows this

Puncture resistance
I was very impressed with these tires and run them on three bikes. One tire, a 26 by 1.75 Marathon Plus, however, did not hold up well. This I discovered after three flats in one day and found all three in the same area! Something embedded in it that I could not even feel except as a slight bulge and then only after repeated examinations of the tire. While I could feel nothing sharp, I dug out whatever was there and covered the somewhat distressed area with duct tape. Several rides went by and all was well. Yesterday I again had two flats on that tire. I say this to indicate that the world is not perfect. I am sufficiently happy with the tires and their overall performance I gave up on the one noted and bought another.
BIGGER SIZES!!
With the advent of 29ers, and 29ers for touring becoming more popular, Schwalbe should consider the availability for larger, 29er sizes for the Marathon Plus Tour and also seriously consider the same for the Marathon XR. Please consider making this in 55-622, 60-622 and 65-622.
Thank you.
Availability of the 26" x 2.0"?
Hi, I have had these tires backordered for over 3 months. Do you have an ETA for this model? I would like to ride (and sell) these for the Chicago winter...
Thanks,
Nick

How about making a folding version of these?
I just ordered a Continental Top Contact folding tire. I'm about to order a Specialized Armadillo Crossroads, for comparison. It'd be nice if you guys had something in the line-up too. You get great reviews, and this seems like a near-ideal tire, except for the wire bead.
It saves weight, which makes a lot of sense when you're biking a lot (if you're not, you don't need puncture-proof). In addition, it's easier to mount and unmount, and easier to store.
second this!
Come on Schwalbe! We need some folding touring tyres as well as 20" sizes!

Real Tire Review
I can't believe no one has properly reviewed these tires yet. I just bought a set and put about 200 mi on them and so far I only see one draw-back; everything under the sun sticks to them. So far I've pulled off stones, tar, gum and, yes, even a band-aid which wouldn't come off even by skidding the tire! Normally I wouldn't have to much of a problem with this, but everything that sticks to these tires turns into a repetative bump which detracts from the best aspect of these tires: the ride. The ride is INCREDIBLE! It's like you're riding on marshmallows without the added drag. Even at 70 psi, you don't feel vibration from the road OR the tread! And, boy, do they grip. These suckers are such a soft compound they even PULL PAINTED LINES OFF THE ROAD (which gives you a multi colored tire for a while), but it's an awesome trick to show your friends. All in all, even if these weren't flatless tires, they'd still be the best touring tire I've ever ridden!
And...?

Mounting tips?
I've just bought a pair of 26" Marathon Plus Tour tires. I put one on the front rim, no problem, but I absolutely cannot get the other one on the back, even after using dishwashing liquid. I should mention that the back rim is of a different make, but it is the same size.
Any tips on mounting these?
Thanks,
Ekdog
