Dureme vs xr?

How does this tire compare to the xr? Is it meant to be a lighter replacement of the xr?

What about some for 406 or 451mm rims for recumbent/small-wheel bicycles? I’d love to get a set of 20” x 1.75” for my folding bicycle! I imagine that people who own the Bike Friday New World Tourist would love these tyres. Oh, and please make them in folding/kevlar bead!

26" version too fat to buy

absolutely. 2” is too fat. I’d choose a vittoria randoneur pro (26x1.5) over this hunking whale of a tyre. it sounds good on paper, but should be available in 1.5” (40) and 1.35” (35) widths.

I completely agree! Something between 1.5 and 1.75. This could be a great touring tire, but not at 2.00.

Yeah, I’d buy a pair today if they came in 1.5. In my opinion, 2 inches is too wide for a long tour.

Please make this tire in a 16” size for recumbent and folding bike riders—we need this tire, too! (Given the ratings in all four of your categories, it’s almost enough to make me change to different bikes with the right size wheels. )
