It has the proven RaceGuard protection belt. Available as folding or wire beaded tire.

Under normal conditions – i.e. not loaded, on-road and under ordinary
braking - expected tread life should be over 6,500 mi (10,000 km).

I’m really disappointed that Schwalbe has discontinued the Stelvio. The Durano may be as good a tire, but it’s not available in 650c, and the Ultremo is far less durable and a far poorer value for me.

Now I have to find a decent 650c tire again…

349 please

349 is a popular choice for folders. I like my 349 Stelvios on my Brompton and it is a pity I will not be able to replace them.

there is virtually no racing

there is virtually no racing tires for 305 wheels.

The fastest one Schwalbe offers is Marathon racer
Primo offers another 1.35 tires.

They are all and if Schwalbe can release Stelvio or Durano in 305 size, they could appeal small wheel racers and recumbent racers.

Are 349 Duranos Coming?

With the demise of the 349 Stelvio, we have no skinny tire options for the 349 size wheel. 349’s are commonly seen on recumbent trikes such as Catrikes and Greenspeeds and also folding bikes. Please consider making a 349 Durano.

I’m riding a recumbent, and finding low rolling-resistance 349’s is difficult. I’ve got one Stelvio, and would love to have 2 more of something similar.
