Wheelchair use
Are these tires good recomended for wheelchairs?
Absolutely
I have a Invacare Crossfire T6 with 24" spinergys. I got a pair of the yellow-black 25-540 tires this summer. I ran on Primos before, and they only lasted 3months on average. These have lasted more than 3 months and don't show any signs of wear yet. They roll better too because of the high PSI. Hope this was helpful. Oh, I also ordered the SV 9A tubes with the presta valves.

Tread?
What is the tread like on these?
On a boys road bike?
I recently purchased a GMC Denali branded boys road bike for my son. The current tires are 32-540 (24" x 1 3/8")that only take 60 PSI. I was looking for a smaller tire with higher PSI for less rolling resistance as a replacement. Would anyone know if RightRun 25-540s will fit? Thanks!
Tire Marks
Do these tires leave any marks behind on hardwood floors? I read that the Speed Run tires don't.
Black'n'Roll
Our black rubber compound will not leave unsightly marks and is suitable for indoor use.
weight of light and puncture resistant
thats it also are there any wider for 540 rims
my25-540 is to skinny
Where are the 25" tires?
Great looking tire -- I would have purchased today if there were a 25 x 1" size!
25" = 559
25" Tire is a 559.
25x559 or 23x559
whats the difference between 25 and 23 x 559? width?
ETRTO sizing
Size 25-559 is about 2 mm wider and taller than size 23-559, but both sizes are meant to fit on a 559 mm diameter rim.

25-540
what is ETRTO ?? says 25-540 ??
ETRTO
ETRTO (European Tire and Rim Technical Organization): Standards organization for tire and rim sizes.
Nowadays, bicycle tires sizes should all fall in line with ETRTO's (European Tire and Rim Technical Organization) tire and rim standards. Yet the older English and French tire size markings are still used.
An ETRTO size marked 25-540 indicates the width of 25 mm and the tire inner diameter of 540 mm. This designation is clear and allows an unequivocal match with the corresponding rim size.
NOTE: Always reference the ETRTO number when ordering to ensure accuracy in tire fit.
Inch sizes are ambiguous and lack accuracy. For example, the diameters 559 mm (MTB), 571 mm (Triathlon) and 590 mm (Touring) are all designated 26 inch. Tires with diameters 622 mm and 635 mm are both designated 28-inch, yet, surprisingly, tires with a diameter of 630 mm are designated 27-inch.

where can I find the approximate outside diameter of 25/559, 20/559, 23/559, 25/540, and 37/540 tires
