 Just Freeride, no cosmetics. The large volume and HEAVY DUTY features make BIG BETTY really tough. The tread is optimized for braking performance and steering. Even so these qualities do not make it too heavy for uphill. Betty can also have a soft side - with super-soft Gooey Gluey Compound.

amazing tire, great grip,

amazing tire, great grip, awesome pinch flat proection for a medium weight tire. There is no other tire on the market that I know about that can withstand the same sharp rock impacts and not pinch flat that is under 900 grams like the big betty. Grip in corners is outstanding. I have laid these tires over on loose over hardpack and thought they would slip but they never do. They have so much grip that I have to run a different tire on the rear for some race courses so that I can slide the rear a little coming into tight corners.

Keep up the good work guys. It would be good to offer these in a slightly narrower version that I could run on the back tire.

What Compound Durometer?

Gooey Gluey is nice marketing fluff, but I can’t comparison shop with other tires without a Specific Shore A durometer. My application is trials, so softer is better. The Maxxis compound that you are competing with is Shore A 42.

guey gluey is 45-50 duro and the triple has up to approx 60. MAxxis have a over dampened feel to the slow reezays (40d) and they tend not to be as active as the slow reezay. It hooks up really well on stuff!!!

29'er please?

Will we ever see this in a 29’er carcass? Simply the best gripping tire I ever ran up front on my 26, but due to my size, I now ride a 29’er, and miss the Big Betty’s awesome grip.
